Our Consent Model
GymSys operates a deny-by-default consent model. When you visit a GymSys web property for the first time, our consent banner asks you to choose which categories of cookies you are willing to accept. No non-essential cookies are set before you make a choice, and choosing to reject all non-essential cookies does not restrict access to any core functionality of the platform.
We group cookies into the following four categories:
- Strictly necessary — These cookies are essential for the website and the authenticated portal to function. They enable actions such as logging in, keeping your session secure, and remembering your cookie preferences. Because they are necessary, they are always active and do not require your consent. You can block them in your browser, but the site will not work correctly if you do.
- Preferences — These cookies remember choices you have made to personalise your experience, such as your language or display settings. They require your opt-in consent before being set.
- Analytics — These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited most often, where visitors come from, and how they move through the site. The information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Analytics cookies require your opt-in consent.
- Marketing — These cookies track your browsing across sites to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements. Marketing cookies require your opt-in consent and are currently not in use; this category is reserved for future use and will be activated only after this policy is updated.
Your consent choice is stored in the first-party cookie gymsys_cookie_consent for a period of 12 months. After 12 months — or whenever we make a material change to our cookie practices — we will re-prompt you for consent. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" button in Section 04 below.
GymSys does not use consent obtained from one category to justify processing in another. Where we rely on consent as the legal basis for processing personal data associated with a cookie, withdrawal of that consent will stop the associated processing going forward but does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before withdrawal.
Managing Your Choices
You are in control of your cookie preferences and can update them at any time. We offer several ways to do this:
- GymSys consent manager. Use the button below to re-open the consent banner. Your current selections will be pre-filled; change them and click "Save preferences" to update your stored choices immediately.
- Browser settings. All modern browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their privacy or security settings. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions: Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies; Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data; Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to the GymSys admin portal.
- Do Not Track. Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. GymSys honours this signal for analytics and marketing cookies; strictly necessary cookies are unaffected.
No analytics scripts load before you have given consent. If you have rejected analytics cookies, no data is sent to any analytics service for the duration of your visit.
If you have any questions about how GymSys uses cookies or about your rights under applicable data-protection law, please contact our privacy team at privacy@gymatic.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak data-protection supervisory authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (ÚOOÚ SR), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
